About Me

My name is Caroline and I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. I live in Madison, Wisconsin with my husband and three children. I graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a focus on Child Development.

I have always had a passion for working with children and families. I taught as an early childhood educator for seven wonderful years with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years at a local family daycare. Becoming a doula is very near and dear to my heart. After personally experiencing three doula-supported births, I knew that birth work was my calling.

As your doula, I will educate you, support and empower you throughout pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. I will provide continuous emotional and physical support through labor and delivery. I will be a caring and comforting labor companion for you and your partner and will help you advocate for yourself. My goal is for you to go into your birthing experience feeling confident your abilities, empowered and fully supported.

I am here to support you in any kind of birthing experience that you desire. I will be by your side, 100 percent, cheering you on!
My Approach
Beyond Birth WI Doula's approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and unwavering support for the choices and desires of expecting families. The focus is on creating a nurturing and empowering environment, where individuals feel heard, validated, and empowered as they prepare for the life-changing event of childbirth. The philosophy revolves around fostering a sense of confidence, comfort, and informed decision-making throughout the entire birthing process.
